Well, the weather didn't play ball in August for the Open Boat afternoon and BBQ, and so many people have said they're away in September that we've decided to postpone this event.

Don't be sad, because we have book a big table at the Lifeboat for an informal dinner (choose what you like and pay for yourself) on Friday 30 September from 7pm.

Also put 10 December in your diary for mince pies and mulled wine in the marina office, plus we've got ideas for a frostbite nacho run to the Hamble, Murrays moules and frites night and a curry night too.  Let us know what you like the sound of, or if you have other ideas! info@medinayachtclub.co.uk

A belated thank you to Tim Griffin and Kevin Richardson who helped 15 members to get to grips with mooring in tide and wind.  Using two RIBs we were able to take turns maneuvering in the tide, brushing up boat handling skills and maybe learning a few more.

Afterwards there were drinks and nibbles in the marquee.
